count – – （動詞）頼る、当てにする、期待する
私は弁護士を頼りにしている。
I count on the lawyer.
私たちには今は頼れる人が誰もいない。

会社の支援を頼りにしている。

アンドリューの援助を当てにしてはならない。

turn – – （動詞）〕頼る、依存する、かかっている、助けを求める
私にはあなた以外に頼る人がいない。
I have no one but you to turn to for help.
アメリアは私に助けを求めた。
Amelia turned to me for help.
あらゆる問題で世界は国連に頼る。
On every issue, the world turns to the United Nations.
車に問題がある時、誰を頼ればよいですか？
Who do I turn to when I have trouble with the car?
街で道に迷った時、警察官を頼った。
I turned to a police officer when I got lost in the city.
「count」は、目的語が来る場合には「count on～」、「turn」は、「turn to～」となります。
「count」は、「数える」「数に入れる」から、「当てにしてもいい」というニュアンスとなるようです。
「turn」は、「～の方を向く」から、その人に「頼る」というニュアンスとなるようです。
