日本文化の話の中で、「今年の干支は未です。」と言いたかったのですが、「干支」の表現がわかりませんでした。早速、「干支」「十二支」の英語表現について調べました。

*「zodiac」は「十二宮図」「黄道帯」という意味です。西洋では１２個の星座がある黄道帯のことを意味しますので、区別するためには、「Japanese zodiac」「Chinese zodiac」を使った方が良いかもしれません。
*「oriental」は、形容詞で「東洋の」という意味です。
*「astrology」は、「 アストロロジー、占星、占星術」という意味です。

*「horary」は、形容詞で「ホラリー占星術の」という意味です。
