「今日のミーティングの議案は」って言う時に「議案」の表現がわかりませんでした。早速、調べました。
日本語の「議案」は、法律的な意味合いが強く、議会で討議される議案のことを指す場合が多く、一般の会社などの会議の場合には、「議題」という表現の方が多く使われるようです。
■ bill – – （可算名詞）議案、法案
■ measure – – （可算名詞）議案、法案、法令、条令
議案が通過した。
The bill has passed.
議案は大差で承認された。
The bill went through with a big majority.
委員会はその議案を可決した。
The committee passed the bill.
議案は賛成 15 票反対 8 票で通過した。
The bill was passed with 15 in favor to 8 against.
ダニエルはその議案に反対の投票をした。
Daniel voted against the measure.
議案は否決された。
The measure was rejected.

■ subject – – 主題、問題、題目
■ topic – – 話題、話の種、テーマ、トピック
■ topic of discussion – – 話題、議題
会議の議題が配布された。
The agenda for the meeting has been distributed.
議題に上っている項目の議論を続けましょう。

フィリピンで企業や団体などの会議に参加していますと、進行役の人から「agenda」という表現を一番多く耳にします。今まで、「会議のテーマ」という意味ではと想像していましたが、さほど間違ってはいませんでした。「subject」「topic」は、もう少し狭義のようです。
