「その歯医者は、コンビニの斜め前にあります。」って言いたかったのですが、「斜め前」の表現がわかりませんでした。(almost in front of the convenience store」でごまかしました。早速、調べました。
■ diagonal – – （形容詞）対角線の、斜めの
■ diagonally – – （副詞）対角線的に、斜めに、はすに
■ diagonally in front – – 斜め前
私の家の斜め前にはコーヒーショップがある。
There is a coffee shop diagonal to my house.
あなたの斜め前にあります。
It is diagonally in front of you.
私の家の斜め前にはおいしいパン屋がある。
There is a good bakery diagonally in front of my house.
この道をまっすぐ行ってください。コンビニが左斜め前にあります。
