上記は4例ですが、「as I hoped」「as I planed」など、他の動詞を使うこともできます。
私が思った通りに今日は晴天である。
Today it is sunny as I hoped.
現在形で「as I want（私が望んでいるように）」、あるいは自分以外で「as you expected（あなたが予想していたように）」にも応用できます。
あなたの予想通りに、彼は転職するだろう。
He will transfer jobs as you expect.
「just」「exactly」を加えると、「まさに」「全く」と「思っていた通りに」がさらに強調されます。
これはまさに思っていた通りの最高のワインだ。
