■ hand over – – 手渡す、引き渡す
私は彼女にこのDVDを渡します。
I hand over this DVD to her.
私は花束を彼女に渡したい。
I’d like to hand over a bouquet to her.
私は今夜その実験データをお渡しします。
I’ll hand over the experimental data tonight.
おそらく、ボスはあなたに鍵を手渡すだろう。
Probably, your boss will hand over the key to you.
「hand over」は、仕事などを「引き継ぐ」という意味にも使えます。
