「その仕事は分担しています」って言いたかったのですが、この場合の分担するは「共有する」の「share」と言う動詞で良いのかどうかわかりませんでした。早速調べました。
「分担する」とは、仕事、費用、責任などを分けて受け持つことです。英語では、「分担する」と言う表現は「分ける」と言う意味の動詞を使うことができることがわかりました。
「share」と言う動詞も、「分ける」という意味があります。
「share in the profit」は「その利益を共有する。（あずかる。分ける。）」
「share in the cost」は「そのコストを分担する。（負担する。分ける。）」
となります。

若夫婦は家事を分担することで合意した。
