「現状維持で行きます」と言いたかったのですが、「現状維持」の表現に迷いました。早速、「現状維持」「現状を維持する」について調べました。
■ maintenance of the status quo – – 現状維持
*「maintenance」は、「持続、維持」という意味です。
*「status quo」は、「そのままの状態、現状」という意味です。
■ maintain the present condition – – 現状を維持する
*「maintain」は、「持続する、維持する」という意味です。
■ keep the status quo – – 現状を維持する
私はは現状維持を希望します。
I desire to maintain the status quo.
当社は現状を維持することができるだろう。
We will be able to maintain the present condition.
現状を維持する方が新しいシステムよりも良い。
The maintaining the status quo is better than the new system.
我々のプロジェクトは現状維持を保つだろう。
Our project will keep the status quo.
小規模企業のほとんどは、今後の経営方針として現状維持を挙げる。

*「identify」は、「行動を共にする、提携する、共鳴する」という意味です。
「維持する」の表現は上記以外にたくさんあります。「status quo」を覚えておくと便利だと思いますが、英語力の高い人でないと通じない様にも思います。
