「彼は会の活動にとても貢献している。」と言いたかったのですが、うまく言えませんでした。「contribute」という単語は知っていますが、使い方をよく理解していない様です。「貢献する」の表現について、早速、調べました。

I contribute to this company’s sales.

*「cost cutting」は、「費用を削減する行為」という意味です。
キャメロンはその仕事に何の貢献もしなかった。
Cameron did not contribute anything to the work.
私の主な仕事は、フィリピンとの貿易拡大に貢献することです。
My main job is contributing to the expansion of trade relations with the Philippines.
