「私はそれには関与したくありません。」と言いたかったのですが、「関与する」の表現がわかりませんでしたので、「I don’t want to touch it.」と言いました。「touch」には「関係する」という意味がありますので、意味は通じたと思います。「関与する」について、早速調べました。
「関与する」とは、「首を突っ込む、足を突っ込む、関わる、手を出す」などの意味です。

私はそのトラブルには関与しない。
I will not take part in that trouble.
私はあなたの企画に携わる。

■ participate – – （自動詞）参加する、あずかる、関係する
