「今日中」「今週中」「今月中」って、頻繁に使います。時々言い方に迷うことがありますので、早速調べました。
「今日中」の表現には、次の様にいろいろな表現が見つかりました。
today

by the end of the day
before the day is out
in the course of the day
within today
in today
by tonight
何も前置詞などが無い場合でも、 「今日やります。 ＝ 今日中にやります。」 で今日中と言う意味になります。
今日中（今週中、今月中）にやります。
I’ll do it today.
I’ll do it this week.
I’ll do it this month.
今日中に返信ください。
Please reply today.
私は今日中に家に帰ります。
I will return home today.
今週中にその返事を下さい。
Please respond this week.
今月中にこのレポートをやらなくてはならない。
I have to get this report done this month.

フィリピンの電気、水道、電話などの請求書は、届きのはいつも遅れますが、支払い期限は非常に短いです。日本ですと1か月か1か月弱ではと思いますが、フィリピンは1～２週間後が多く、遅れて届くと数日以内に支払わないといけないことになります。
支払い期限に遅れると、遠くのその会社のメインオフィスまで行かないと支払いができなかったり、ペナルティが加算されたり、サービスを止められたりします。
顧客サービスが完全に無視されていますが、そうしないと支払いをしない人が多いのも事実の様です。
