price down – – 値下げ、価格ダウン
discount – – （名詞）割引、ディスカウント、（動詞）割引する、を割引して売る
値下げのおかげでこれらのケーキはは良く売れている。
These cakes sells well because of the price cut.
アップルiPhoneの値下げが今日発表された。
Apple iPhone price reductions are announced today.
私たちは先週から値段を下げている。
We are taking the price down since last week.
あなたはそのドレスをいくら値下げ出来ますか？

■ drop – – （動詞）下がる
米は来月、値下げされる。
The price of rice will be dropped next month.
この卸値より値下げできません。
We cannot drop the price any lower than this wholesale price.
表現方法が多いため、少し混乱しそうです。重要な「cut」「reduce」「mark down」は、覚えるようにしたいです。
