かなりいろいろな表現方法があります。比較的分り易い表現を選定しました。
■ attend the hospital – – 通院する。
オリビアは婦人科に通院している。
Olivia is attending a gynecologist.
*「gynecologist」は「婦人科医」の意味です。
私は脚を骨折して、 ３か月余り通院した。
I broke my leg and had to attend the hospital for three months or so.
彼は外来通院するだろう。
He will do a outpatient visit.
*「outpatient visit」は「外来通院」の意味です。
しばらくあなたは通院する必要があります。（医者の台詞）
You’ll have to visit me regularly for a while.
■ enter the hospital/go into the hospital – – 入院する。
■ be the hospital – – 入院している。
私は入院する。
I will enter the hospital.
I will go into the hospital.
ローガンは今入院中だ。
Logan is now in a hospital.
アナベルは２週間入院している。
Annabelle has been in the hospital for 2 weeks.
私は10日間入院していた。
I was in the hospital for ten days.
私の父は明日入院する。

*「be admitted to」は「入院する」という行動を表します。
