「その出張は来週の月曜日に予定している」と言う時に「予定している」の表現に迷いました。早速、「予定している」の表現を調べました。
「予定している」は、「別な予定がある」ではなく、「計画中である」のように話し相手に何らかの関係のあること、あるいは自分のスケジュールの報告をするニュアンスが多いのではと思います。
■ scheduled – – （形容詞）予定している、スケジュールされた、計画的
私は12月にフィリピンへ行くことを予定している。
I am scheduled to go to the Philippines in December.
私は明朝ドバイに到着することを予定している。
I am scheduled to arrive in Dubai tomorrow morning.
株主総会は２時間を予定している。
The general meeting of shareholders is scheduled for two hours.
*「general meeting of shareholders」は、「株主総会」という意味です。
ボクシングの試合は日曜に予定されている。
The boxing match is scheduled for Sunday.
商品の初出荷は2016年１月に予定されている。
The first shipping of the products is scheduled for January 2016.
