新幹線に間に合わなかった。
I couldn’t catch the Shinkansen.

Can we still catch the next flight?
■ miss – – 乗りそこなう、間に合わない
急がないとバスに間に合わないよ。
Hurry up, or you will miss the bus.
ほんのすこしのところで電車に乗り遅れた。
I only just missed the train.
電車に間に合わない。
I’m going to miss my train.
締め切りに間に合わないだろう。
I will miss the deadline?
